North-South Line Train Fault

A train fault on the North-South Line caused a 40-minute disruption on September 14, affecting six stations: Newton, Novena, Toa Payoh, Braddell, Bishan, and Ang Mo Kio. SMRT advised commuters to expect an additional 25 minutes of travel time between Newton and Ang Mo Kio. Service resumed at 12:21 PM, and the complimentary bus service for affected commuters was discontinued.
